Kathmandu: Nobel Medical College has stepped forward to boost the spirits of the Nepali cricket team currently competing in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 cricket qualifiers. In a heartwarming gesture, the college has announced a substantial prize of NPR 1.5 million to motivate and honor the team's efforts. Furthermore, the college has pledged an additional NPR 500,000 if the Nepali team secures qualification for the World Cup.

The award announcement letter was presented to Chatur Bahadur Chandali, President of Nepal Cricket Association, by the Chief Executive Officer of the college, Bhogendra Prasad Upadhyay.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, the former President and Managing Director of Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital, and currently a member of the House of Representatives for Morang Region No. 3, voiced his passion for Nepali cricket.
